These Dice Are Pink

Ramblings on Roleplaying, GMing, Books, and Gaming

The Shocks Continue

Day two of Bioshock occurred last night.  I am now way farther than I ever got in the game when I attempted to play the first time.  At first, it left me timid and I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to play after my husband went to bed.  Last night, I started to ease into the atmosphere and relish the surprises around the corner.  It is not that the noises (or lack of noise) gets repetitive, just that, you begin to enjoy the story and atmosphere that it brings.  After the cut, I included where I was in the game.  It’s put there for people who don’t want spoilers.

Last night, I entered the surgery wing of the medical building and found the crazed doctor.  This sent me on a scavenger hunt to find various types of plasmids that would let me get through.  First, I had to go search down a fire plasmid to get into the dental wing.  For some strange reason, the dental wing was also where they tested telekinesis  Sort of weird, but, okay.  In the dental wing, you can play with a tennis ball machine that will let you catch a tennis ball and throw it back.  That’s pretty cool stuff!
